The Opportunity
Are you looking to launch your career in Client Relations and Sales? HMG+, the New York area’s leading event staffing and hospitality recruitment firm for over 25 years, is looking for a full-time Client Relations Associate to join our team! As the Client Relations Associate, you will assist and take ownership of managing our client event schedules, doing your best to accommodate any changes or requests while managing expectations to ensure that the HMG+ standard of service is upheld.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Vice President
- Handle all client communication: email, phone, and in-person meetings. This role will require moderate travel/commute around the NYC-Midtown area
- Receive all new event orders from our clients and place into our CRM
- Manage any last-minute change requests and liaise with our staffing team to manage expectations
- Review daily event orders for accuracy, ensuring all events in our CRM reflect client needs
- Respond to all client feedback on a per-event basis
- Make staffing recommendations based on style of service, guest count, and scope of work for each event
- Manage mass communication regarding event staffing forecasts, busy dates, and blackout dates
- Conduct bi-annual staffing reviews with each client, ensuring that their staff requests are up to date
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Business, or Marketing
- 2-4 years of experience in an Event Planning, Communications, Customer Success, Client Relations, or Public Relations role preferred
- Familiarity with CRM preferred
- Comfortability with in-person and phone communication, as this role will require extensive face-to-face interaction with our clients and staff
- Good time management skills

- $60,000-$70,000 base salary + quarterly bonus
