Job Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for starting conversations with new customers, identifying their problems and gaining agreement that Concentric may be able to help solve them, is the lifeblood of our organization. You will manage the new account qualification process and create opportunities for our sales team. Your goal is to introduce prospects to Concentric, using a system of phone calls, emails, webinars and other tools to drive engagement and create customer epiphanies. You will quickly learn how to turn prospects into leads, enabling our sales teams to turn those leads into clients.
Supported by a team, you will not be buried with tedious tasks like researching lists of people or drafting email scripts. You will know who to call and how to contact them; you will know what to say and how to engage them. You will spend more time in conversation and less time on back-end support. Our processes are data-backed and efficient.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Generate awareness and engagement in key markets and within key accounts.
· Utilize Concentrics’s sales processes & capabilities (including outbound calling, emailing, webinars, inbound lead follow up, and overall lead management) to initiate meaningful conversations, connect with targeted role players and generate sales opportunities for our advanced solutions team.
· Qualify and market our advanced solution offerings to potential new customers. This involves conducting high-level, strategic conversations with senior executives.
· Follow-through on new leads created by our existing marketing efforts.
· Prepare sales executives with lead information, as needed.
· Provide insights and feedback serving as the “voice” of your defined markets.
· Work alongside peers to collaborate and share best practices.
· Other duties as assigned.

· # of preventative maintenance agreements booked
Requirements
· Associate"s degree from an approved two-year college or university or very strong equivalent experience.
· Experience working in a customer-focused environment. Experience serving clients through telephone interaction is a plus.
· Ability to write succinct, crisp emails and have great phone presence/approach.
· Comfortable with technology. Knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
· Experience setting, committing, and following through to ensure completion of a goal.
· Ability to juggle priorities and stay focused while handling multiple accounts.
· Results-driven. You take initiative and work hard to make a difference. You play to win.
· Communicator. You possess exceptional written and oral communication skills and communicate effectively with any audience.
