JOB SUMMARY:
The National Sales Director is an Executive position working out of our corporate office in Green Bay, WI with responsibility for overseeing and optimizing all sales revenue-generating activities within the company. This includes directing and leading our Regional Sales Managers (and their Sales Reps) and ensuring that company sales and marketing strategies are effectively implemented in order to drive business growth.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with senior leadership to execute the current corporate strategic plan and develop future plans
- Manage the sales team to drive business growth across all customer segments and share responsibility with the marketing department for improving strategy and customer experience
- Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable partners in a strategic way
- Lead and motivate sales team to ensure that sales target expectations are met and exceeded
- Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive strategies and tactics
- Remain well-connected with customers to ensure that their needs are being factored into the product development and enhancement cycles
- Collaborate with the finance, product management and marketing teams on messaging, pricing strategies and business models for achieving revenue goals
- Identify and resolve issues across the marketing, sales and account management teams
- Participate in contract negotiations with new prospective clients as well as with existing customers
REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
- Five or more years in sales leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing Sales Reps in the Convenience Store and/or Food Retail industries
- Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach
- Ability to effectively craft and execute a business strategy
- Proven track record of growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, branding and partnerships
- Strong technical experience with Hubspot, Salesforce and/or other CRS systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
