Technical support assistant
Position Description:
Answering technical support calls for all product lines of environmental chambers and solving the customer’s issues by phone and email. Learn the product line to have the highest potential at assisting new and existing customers.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Answer technical support calls.
- Proactively seeks opportunities for sales during technical support calls.
- Develops customer relations to increase future sales of chambers.
Communicates daily with Service Team Lead and Technical Specialist
- Develop and maintain Technical Support documentation protocols for posterity.
- Relay customer feedback to sales and engineering
- Manages parts warranty from services group.
Job Requirements
- Experience in: technical product /mechanicals /controls is a plus
- Above average skills in: Customer communication, both verbal and written, documentation, computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to: Communicate effectively with other employees both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Above average skills with Microsoft Office 365
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1 year experience with Customer Service.
- Experience with SAGE accounting a plus
- Experience in a parallel field is a plus.
