The Core Receivables Program is a IT Strategic initiative to replace a set of legacy mainframe auto loan servicing applications, Shaw (Retail) and LeMans (Lease), with a COTS product. In order to successfully convert the mainframe legacy system to the new platform, we need to have an accurate understanding of the AS-IS legacy system. We are looking for a Mainframe Analyst to analyze the existing mainframe system source code, document the data logic and usage, and provide data conversion recommendation for the program.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Applications, Infrastructure teams, and Cloud strategy architect to decommission the Application component for Mainframe Sunset.
- Develop and execute a detailed plan for decommissioning the mainframe application footprint with the Infrastructure team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify all dependencies and ensure that no critical processes are disrupted.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with the decommissioning process.
- Validate the completeness and accuracy of the migrated data.
- Develop backup and recovery strategies for the mainframe environment to ensure all components are accounted for before decommissioning.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Mainframe Application Batch, database components, and scheduling tool knowledge.
- 8+ Years of Product experience in Broadcom Jobtrac V11 scheduling tool with Job reporting, schedule management.
- 4+ Years of System experience in Mainframe DB2 V12.1 and IMS V15.2 database various Database objects and optimization.
- 2+ Years of Application programming and development knowledge on Cobol V4.2, Assembler languages. PL/I knowledge will be add on benefit.
- Expertise in Data replication tools, Qlik, Power Exchange V10.5 and R4Z
