Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in their New York, NY location.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.
- Oversee project resources, including the procurement of staff, and provide motivation, coaching, and guidance.
- Ensure the project follows established systems development and project management processes.
Collaboration & Business Alignment:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and gather business requirements.
- Work closely with developers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders and sponsors.
Testing & Delivery:
- Define test plans and ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate the UAT process, coordinate rollout plans, and develop operational procedures.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate project status and key updates with the project team, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Make presentations to steering committees and project sponsors on key project milestones and outcomes.
Requirements / Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Program Manager, working closely with business partners.
- Prior experience with wire payments and deposits.
- Demonstrated success in engaging with and managing senior stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn and align with business processes.
- Previous experience working within financial institutions.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets.
