THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Oversee the growth, safety, and sustainability of this Service Center including direct management of 5 direct reports and an overall team of 40 individuals.
Provide leadership, guidance and performance management.
Achieve financial targets and ensure proper procedures and standards are in place to meet customer requirements.
Assist with developing work plans, operations scheduling, and expediting material and time estimates.
Lead the effort to improve key customer metrics as well as internal metrics on safety, labor utilization, and margin performance.
Be a strategic problem solver with a strong passion to drive growth at this location and across the entire organization.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products
Supervisory experience in a fast-paced industrial service, maintenance or manufacturing environment.
Understanding of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing concepts, and production scheduling.
Proven background with driving change in operations for efficiency.
Ability to build rapport with current and potential customers.
Interpersonal and supervisory skills and the ability to coach and motivate employees.
