User Experience Designer
Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite in Irving, TX
Duration: 3 months, 25-30 hours per week
Job Overview:
Seeking a skilled and experienced UX Designer to work on an informational website project. You will be responsible for handling functionality, creating user flows, and designing wireframes for a website that consists of an introduction page and four tabs of navigable information. Each tab will include three content areas, featuring educational copy, imagery, a Q&A feature, a Quizlet, and videos. The website is built using the Drupal framework, and your role will involve designing components within Drupal's structure, leveraging its theme for additional tabs.
You will collaborate with a Jr. UX Designer and focus on creating seamless and user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design user flows, wireframes, and mockups for an informational website.
- Collaborate with a Jr. UX Designer to ensure consistent, functional, and visually appealing design.
- Use Drupal’s framework to design components and structure content without the need for development.
- Work with the provided theme and infrastructure to extend website functionality across tabs.
- Ensure the website’s design enhances usability and content accessibility for users.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of UX design experience.
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating proficiency in user-centered design.
- Expertise with design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, and Figma.
- Experience designing within frameworks like Drupal (development knowledge is not required).
- Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position requiring 25-30 hours per week. Work will be hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Irving, TX.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 55/hr to 58/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
