Construction Project Manager
A successful Nassau County developer of commercial real estate assets is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have skills and savvy for preparing and managing the progress of multiple construction projects from start to completion. This is a highly visible role providing growth within a successful and dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for preparing and managing the progress of projects from start to completion.
- Develop and manage schedules, review and recommend requisitions, signoffs and construction project closeouts.

- Lead the project during Construction Administration, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and issuing design changes.
- Coordinate the work of multiple contractors, provide progress reports, manage contract correspondence, and oversee the submittals, requisitions, and change order processes.
- Interface directly with clients during the build out process.
- Ensure contractor compliance and instruct project staff to verify client contractual requirements are met.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of ground up and renovations of commercial property experience is required.
- Retail development, build out and fit out experience is a plus.
- Able to work under deadlines and multitask within several projects.
- Procore and MS Excel and similar software skills preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000, plus bonus, 401k, comprehensive health benefits and other valuable perks.
