Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- Perform VMware installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using VMware tools.
- Implement and maintain VMware clusters, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure security compliance and best practices for VMware environments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning for VMware systems.
- Strong knowledge in Cloud platforms AWS, Azure.
- Strong Knowledge on Disaster Recovery tool Zerto.
- VMware NSX knowledge.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies as needed.
- Stay updated with VMware technologies and recommend system improvements.
- Understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
- Familiarity with patch management and configuration management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Environment.
