Description: Milestone Technologies is currently hiring for a Project Manager in Fremont, California. The Project Manager will be responsible for owning assigned projects from concept to completion. Strong attention to detail, robust communication skills and a high level of professionalism are required.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Manage multiple concurrent projects that require coordination with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and teams
Lead and manage large-scale projects from planning, development, launch, socialization and adoption
Track, escalate and mitigate projects risks and issues as appropriate
Work with the key team members and leadership to prioritize tasks using internal tools
Own and manage project plans and provide regular communications to management and stakeholders on projects status, risks, dependencies etc.
Host and lead regular project meetings with respective stakeholders
Manage multiple concurrent projects that require coordination with cross-functional stakeholders and teams
Lead and manage large-scale compliance and operations projects from planning, development, socialization, launch, and adoption
Monitor, track, and escalate relevant security risks and issues as appropriate to ensure timely mitigation
Work with the key team members and leadership to prioritize tasks using internal tools and report on security metrics
Develop project plans and provide regular communications to management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and dependencies, etc.
Lead project meetings to define requirements, approach, and resources, and follow up on action items for accountability
Draft and maintain documentation for projects, operations processes, and material evidence
What You Will Need to Succeed:
5+ years of related security project experience in supporting security operations, risk and compliance, technology audit, and governance in financial and/or technology industry
Familiarity with security operations workflow and processes including incident response management, vulnerability management, issues remediation, cloud security, network security, and controls testing
Experience in providing client services with requirements gathering, strategy, and outcome-based deliverables to meet the business requirements and timeline
Adaptable in a fast-paced culture and the ability to be flexible in changing environment and priorities
Experience with data reporting and analytics dashboards, visualization tools, and presentation tools
Industry certifications in security, technology, and/or business management are a plus (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, CCIE, CISM, CISA, AWS Cloud Practitioner)
Knowledge in regulatory compliance frameworks (NIST CSF & 800-53, ISO27001, SOC, HITRUST, HIPAA, FedRamp, PCI, GDPR, etc.)
Understanding of risk and security industry literature and knowledge bases (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-39)
Experience in supporting compliance for Payments Compliance Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) of financial products and services in banking and fintech industries
Execution oriented, results-driven, and a self-motivated in supporting the program vision, strategy, and approach with minimal guidance
Work with cross-functional stakeholders in security, product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure PCI requirements, timeline, and progress are being communicated
