Business Development Manager/Director – State and Local IT Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to capture new business opportunities in state and local government IT services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Lead proposal development efforts and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.
- Stay informed about state government procurement practices, contracts, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development within State and Local IT Services.
- Extensive knowledge of state government procurement practices and policies.
- Strong network and relationships within state and local government agencies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
