Job Description
This position supports the daily distribution and tracking of desktop equipment and peripherals to our associates. This resource is part of the Asset Management team – Duties include:
- Receiving desktop assets, peripherals, and accessories
- tracking and updating Coupa orders
- updating ServiceNow tickets
- shipping equipment (both interoffice and to associates homes)
- inventory and data reconciliation
- imaging pcs and loaner laptops
- occasional software installation and troubleshooting.
- Preparation of desktops and other equipment for disposition including removing extra components and erasing all data from assets leaving the firm.
- Work closely with Desktop Support to make sure tickets and equipment are properly recorded and available for deployment in Service Now.
- This resource will continue to augment current Asset Management staff to meet lease replacement schedules and complete other Asset Management responsibilities (detailed above).
- This role follows processes for creating new asset records in Service Now to begin life cycle management, as well as shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Requirements
- Familiarity with ServiceNow (highly preferred)
- Excel spreadsheets for tracking purposes
- Inventory operations experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational and good written and oral communication skills.
Able to work independently, but also work as a member of the team to meet the larger team
