Job Title: Technical Assistant

We are seeking a Technical Assistant for our client in Carrollton, TX! In this role, you will support various engineering and technical tasks, including writing manuals, product inspections, and providing technical training. Collaboration with both internal and external engineering teams will be essential for successful project execution. This role also involves assisting with product testing and customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit technical content for manuals, brochures, and submissions.
- Provide backup and support for company programs such as surveys, configurations, and startups.
- Collaborate with engineers on new product development projects.
- Assist with technical training for staff and customers.
- Test and inspect products and samples for quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Strong electrical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with electrical products.
- Associate degree or relevant experience with electrical products.
- 5+ years in a similar role.
- Technical writing experience or certification is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone or in person.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
