Hospital-employed Hospitalist group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice as a Hospitalist. The hospital is a 400+ bed regional referral center and it manages its own Hospitalist program. The current practice includes more than 25 full-time, board-certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist physicians. Daily, 12 physicians work the 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift and 3 physicians cover the 7 p.m. 7 a.m. shift. We have an opening for either daytime or Nocturnist shifts.
Practice Highlights:
- Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in hospital consults
- Admit and co-manage with Intensivist support adult patients in critical care
- 24/7 Pulm/Critical Care support for all CC admissions
- Manage patients in Clinical Decision Unit
- 24 hour subspecialty support available for all specialties including presence of an in-house Radiology physician 24/7
- 7 on/7 off rotation for days and 12 shifts per month for nights
