Job Description:
- Controls and Mechanical Technician to program, troubleshoot, and maintain control and mechanical systems for automated equipment.
- You will ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime of automated production systems.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Maintenance: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.
- System Diagnostics: Diagnose and repair control and mechanical system issues.
- Assembly and Calibration: Assemble mechanical components and ensure systems operate within tolerances.
- Upgrades & Documentation: Assist in system upgrades and maintain detailed records.
- Some PLC Programming: Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience with automated systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems like hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Basic knowledge of RS Logix, Cognex, or Keyence systems is a plus.
