the responsibilities of the position are as follows but not limited to the following functions;
- Your main function is to setup tools in presses, remove tools from presses that require work to be done to the tools, communicate with the shift supervisor on the daily plan and when possible help troubleshoot or process machines and tools.
- - At the start of each shift, check with the shift supervisor on planned, scheduled setups that are required for the shift.
- - Follow the setup procedure on tool setup.
- - Monitor any tools not stored correctly. Clean the tools and put these away in the correct location.
- - Maintain a clean setup supply room.
- - Help maintain and ensure all required raw materials are available for each molding machine. This includes maintaining the use of color & regrind in the process if required.
- - Ensure grinders, hopper loaders and filters are cleaned & working correctly and that regrind is being used correctly in the process. Communicate to your supervisor if this is not being done.
- - Maintain, clean up all areas, machines within the molding area. Remove trash, clean up oil spills. Plastic pellets can create fall hazards. Sweep these up when seen. Mop up any water.
- - Treat all co workers with respect and follow company policies.
- - Keep all doorways clear.
