Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hot Cell Installation Technician responsible for the installation, operation, and repair of our specialized Hot Cell Equipment. This role involves working with PLC systems, environmental control systems, camera systems, pneumatic systems, low voltage work, and light plumbing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation and Repair: Install, operate, and repair Hot Cell Equipment, including PLC systems, environmental controls, camera systems, pneumatic systems, and other related components.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to control and monitoring systems. Perform necessary repairs on system controller boards, field devices, sensor wiring, and network/communication wiring.
- System Testing: Test and calibrate system devices to ensure reliable operation and monitoring.
- Hardware Maintenance: Install, modify, and maintain system hardware, including electrical conduit, sensor wiring, communications wiring, and control system enclosures.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and modify system blueprints and schematics as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain logs and records of system operations, including creating hardware schedules for controls projects and renovations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience installing and maintaining building/plant control systems, including energy management systems, camera systems, and environmental control systems.
- Technical Skills: General knowledge of digital control concepts, such as analog and digital inputs/outputs, sequences of operations, and point addressable devices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control system malfunctions and determining appropriate repairs.
- Experience with technicians' tools, such as electric meters, calibration devices, and electronic testers.
- Knowledge of general electrical equipment installation methods.
- Physical Abilities: General strength, manual dexterity, and wrist-finger movement required to perform essential job functions.
- Customer Service: Basic customer service skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
Work Environment:
This position typically reports to the Manager of Hot Cell Equipment or other appropriate supervisory positions. The role requires following specific guidelines and departmental procedures and involves daily assignments, work orders, and projects.
