Overview
This position is as secure as most direct-hire positions! It will be the eighth CREW position supporting a local pharmaceutical company's recruiting team, and CREW has several other employees serving in long-term positions in other departments with this company. Seven CREW employees support the manufacturing recruiting efforts. This newest position will support the Process Research & Development (PRD) recruiting efforts to hire research scientist to join this growing, global pharmaceutical company.
The role is full-time, onsite and the work schedule is flexible -- no defined start or stop times. People work consistent schedules Monday through Friday during the day, arriving at roughly the same time and leaving at roughly the same time every day -- as works best for each.
Position Summary:
As part of the PRD (Process Research & Development) Recruitment Team, the person in the role will:
- Act as the central point of contact and coordinator for scheduling across all PRD business functions ensuring a seamless interview process for the business and hi-touch candidate experience.
- Work with the functional PRD Administrative team to plan “day of interview flow” including, but not limited to scheduling and coordinating full-day, on-site interview experience; reserving appropriate room space; planning lunch (or dinner) as needed, assisting with candidate travel, coordinating site tours, creating interview agendas, generating feedback forms in the software application, and providing the team and candidates with all pertinent interview day information to ensure an exceptional experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Support the PRD recruitment team and PRD functional teams in a hi-volume, hi-touch, full life cycle recruiting environment.
- Manage complex candidate scheduling utilizing Outlook, Teams and Workday.
- Coordinate candidate travel as needed for on-site meetings/interviews.
- Provide candidates with a best-in-class experience, maintaining contact, responsiveness and support throughout the process ensuring a high level of candidate engagement and positive overall experience.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years administrative support or HR/Recruiting Coordinator experience or similar role requiring a high level of organization in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proven experience with complex calendaring with the ability to plan and coordinate multi-tiered, full-day, on-site interviews.
- Overall aptitude to work in a flexible, fast-paced, change agile environment, with solid business capabilities and EQ (Emotional Intelligence).
- Capable of building cross-functional relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the business.
- Possess solid MS technical skills including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience within a Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition/Recruiting environment highly preferred.
- Experience with Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry a strong plus.
- Passionate, high-energy, accountable, and collaborative team player with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
