Akkodis is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee and enhance policy management across our organization. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership, business unit managers, and employees to gather data and ensure effective policy updates. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership and business unit managers to collect data related to policy management.
- Lead or closely assist in updating policy management processes.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret business needs and develop actionable solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records for policy management, including progress and updates.
- Build successful relationships across the organization and with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop materials to raise awareness of internal policy management among all employees.
- Assist in identifying, measuring, managing, and reporting risks, countermeasures, and management controls related to policy management.
- Handle ad hoc tasks and prepare analyses as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of policy management requirements.
- Experience in project management related to policy management.
- Familiarity with auditing standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams.
- Previous compliance experience is highly desired.
Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a comparable field is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- This position is remote, requiring 40 hours a week, with occasional travel to Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA.
