We are looking for a Scientific Engineer (MSAT Manager) to join a key client! This role will oversee the technical and scientific aspects of the client's manufacturing processes.
You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, optimize production, and implement innovative technologies within a dynamic team. What You'll be Doing:
- Coordinate manufacturing support teams (scientists and engineers) to meet goals and address obstacles using daily management tier meeting process and aid in new product introductions.
- Allocate resources between manufacturing support and strategic projects to meet on time delivery metrics and continuous improvement goals.
- Coach team, managers, and individuals to ensure success and advance long-term development plans.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams (Management team, CAPA review board, Product Support, etc) to provide technical support.
- Direct and manage the timely execution of projects, from inception to completion
- Develop both tactical and long-term strategic manufacturing objectives for the unit.
- Drive favorable trends in business results through implementation of improvements in equipment and facilities and advocate new technologies and capital equipment purchases to enhance operations.
- Assume responsibility for technical product ownership within manufacturing. Design, implement and sustain key management processes to support validation, maintenance, and calibration.
- Foster team development to maximize engagement and ensure an effective balance of technical team efforts between manufacturing support and strategic goals.
- Cultivate a culture of creative problem solving while maintaining manufacturing efficiency.
- Drive solutions that optimize implementation of new technologies.
What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences is required. MS/PhD in life science is preferred.
- Work Experience: 8+ years supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing subordinate supervisors and building high-performance teams across multi-departmental organizations
- Strong background in project, process, and/or program management.
- Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing, new product transfer, equipment design, process analysis, equipment maintenance, calibration systems, ERP, validation processes, FDA/ISO regulations.
- Ability to communicate at all organizational levels professionally and effectively.
What You'll Earn:
- $140K - $192K depending on experience
