Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time transcription of depositions using AI technology.
- Transform digital recordings into written text within a two-day turnaround.
- Maintain protocols of impartiality and professionalism while working on-camera during depositions.
- Some opportunities will exist to go into law offices from time to time, although the job is mostly remote.
- Standard hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime for extended depositions.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree or other post-secondary education is preferred, but not required (no Bachelor’s needed).
- applicants from the states of Pennsylvania (PA), New York(NY), and South Florida (Miami/Dade County) (FL)) are preferred.
- No previous legal experience is required.
- Having a Notary in PA, NY, or FL is a plus (not required).
- Proven writing and proofreading skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Strong typing and technology skills.
- Ability to work remotely and possibly on-site when required.
