Job Description
Provide support to Homestead Water Company by receiving water customer payments, maintaining state tracking and testing requirements, creating work orders, taking and dispatching stop and start water requests, handling public concerns and complaints, writing PO's, tracking pay records, scheduling personnel and maintaining the professional office working environment while ensuring all paperwork and projects are processed and completed in a timely basis in the order of established priorities
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely entry and complete follow through of all purchases related to Homestead Water Company projects
- Coordinate activities of Homestead Water staff through work assignments in cooperation with Engineering management staff.
- Submit and track capital purchase requests for all projects related to the Homestead Water Company
- Assist the company through completion and submission of PEA forms for major planned maintenance, capital request emergency maintenance, etc.
- Maintain all SOP, Life Safety manuals and Virginia State Waterworks requirements for the Homestead Water Company
- Create and send out annual water customer letter as required by Virginia Department of Health (VDOH)
- Compile and maintain water chlorination report for VDOH
- Maintain annual maintenance contracts and oversee vendors working at the water treatment facility
- Track all construction projects related to Omni or TRT holdings relative to the Homestead Water Company
- Create and maintain up to date associate work schedules for Homestead Water team
- Notify all stakeholders in the event of a planned or emergency water shutdown
- Assume administrative duties in accordance with changing requirements.
- Be familiar with Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
- Keep calendar for Manager of Homestead Water and schedule meetings accordingly
- Other job duties as required
Qualifications
Must meet minimum qualificatins as follows:
Prior office experience preferred including use of Microsoft Office programs, copy, printer, fax, scanner
Professional phone etiquette required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Standing and sitting for long periods of time.
