Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mobility Engineer to manage our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, capacity planning, troubleshooting, deployments, and post-support tasks in line with company standards and policies. This role also includes maintaining disaster recovery environments to ensure compliance with our corporate business continuity plan.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and 3 end-user support.
- Support MDM solutions, primarily AirWatch.
- Manage device inventory, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
- Ensure device security through containerization, compliance, and application policies.
- Oversee mobile application management, including app store management and whitelisting of new applications.
- Manage mobile carrier relationships and services.
- Engineer mobility solutions, focusing on next-generation MDM platforms.
- Maintain on-premises server MDM infrastructure and ensure connectivity to the Workspace ONE cloud tenant and backend resources.
Skills and Requirements:
Mandatory Skills:
- Expertise in Workspace ONE UEM and Workspace ONE Access.
- Knowledge of Apple DEP, ABM, VPP, and APNS.
- Proficient in Android EMM, Work Profile, and Work Managed environments.
- Experience with UEM device profiles (iOS/Android restrictions, passcodes, Wi-Fi profiles).
- Strong understanding of UEM compliance policies and repositories.
- Experience with device enrollments for Apple, Android, Windows PC/Laptop, and macOS.
- Familiarity with core Workspace ONE applications (Hub, Boxer, Content, Web, Tunnel).
- Knowledge of LDAP, Directory Services, and Secure LDAP.
- Understanding of Workspace ONE infrastructure components (Cloud Connector, Universal Access Gateway, Secure Email Gateway).
- General knowledge of VPN tunneling (PerAppVPN).
- Understanding of Organizational Units (OUs), Active Directory users, attributes, and assignment groups in the UEM environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with O365 and federated authentication.
- General understanding of certificates and APIs.
- Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery sites.
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident ticketing, request tasks, change management, and reporting.
- Windows server administration experience.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in a financial institution.
- Project Experience: 2+ years in Full project life cycle (working under project management).
- Specific Experience: 3+ years with VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch).
