Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time position with a client located in Omaha, NE. The objective of the Project Manager is to manage the organization of key client projects delivering every project on time within budget and scope. The Project Manager will display key relationship management skills and a strong technical background to understand the complexities of a technical business environment.
Pay/Salary Range: $50,000/yr - $60,000/yr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supports all corporate objectives and policies
- Accountable for the coordination and completion of all assigned projects on time and within profitability expectations
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects developing a detailed project plan setting deadlines, monitoring and summarizing progress of all projects; within the Project Management Office framework
- Initiate, execute, and closeout projects according to established processes.
- Coordinate internally with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are achieved
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, in accordance with PMO and GPMO standards
- Responsible for reporting on project status to local and global management.
- Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Clear, direct communication with customer managing expectations.
- Communicate customer concerns / issues internally and execute recovery or response.
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage various projects in different markets.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- On site project meetings when necessary.
- Enter orders for assigned projects.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements of this position include:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Sharepoint)
- Proven communication skills to interact with team members
- Proven critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems related to orders.
- Strong organizational skills a must.
- Knowledge of SAP a plus.
