Sales Director – Air & Ocean Freight (Los Angeles)
Are you a results-oriented sales leader with deep experience in the freight forwarding industry? We’re seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to join our Los Angeles team. In this sole contributor role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive significant business growth by selling our international air and ocean freight services, as well as heavy domestic airfreight solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new business development efforts by selling tailored air and ocean freight services to clients across various sectors.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key customers, ranging from small to large enterprises, to expand market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized freight solutions that address client needs.
- Actively pursue new leads, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings in the market.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven success in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on air and ocean freight services.
- Strong understanding of the airfreight market, particularly in handling heavy domestic airfreight shipments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to manage the entire sales process independently, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Driven by targets, with a passion for exceeding sales goals and growing the business.
