We are seeking a board certified Neurologist or Psychiatrist to work as a Principal Investigator (PI), full time at a premier neuroscience research site in Philadelphia. The PI will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the highest quality of research integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Study Leadership:
- Serve as the primary investigator for clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Develop study protocols and oversee their implementation and adherence throughout the trial.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and institutional policies.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including IRB submissions and amendments.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor research staff, including study coordinators and clinical research associates.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes effective teamwork and communication.
Participant Engagement:
- Oversee participant recruitment, informed consent processes, and ensure participant safety and welfare.
- Address participant inquiries and concerns regarding the study.
Data Management:
- Ensure accurate data collection and management in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Oversee the analysis of study data and ensure timely reporting of results.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Participate in budget development and manage study-related expenses.
- Collaborate with sponsors and funding organizations to secure resources for studies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with sponsors, regulatory agencies, and institutional partners.
- Represent the site in meetings, conferences, and presentations related to clinical research.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Active PA medical license
