Our Client is seeking a full-time Director of Pharmacy to lead a team delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. This role involves decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration with department heads, physicians, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental goals and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical standards.
- Oversee operations, including patient care, staffing, budgeting, and audits.
- Foster professional growth and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical protocols.
- Serve as the "Managing Pharmacist" to ensure compliance with state and federal laws after obtaining Nevada licensure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Pharmacy required, Doctorate preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in hospital or acute care settings.
- Must obtain NV Pharmacist License and PIC certification within 3 months of hire.
- BLS, ACLS, and FEMA certifications required within 6 months.
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, and leadership skills.
