Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team, focusing on managing contracts within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contract negotiation, and compliance processes, as well as experience in a government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, negotiation, and management of contracts with DoD clients, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and review contract documents, including proposals, amendments, and modifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and program management to ensure alignment on contract terms and deliverables.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on contract management processes and best practices.
- Stay current on relevant regulations and policies affecting government contracting, particularly those specific to the DoD.
- Provide guidance and support during audits and reviews by government entities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CCM) is preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in contracts management, with a focus on government contracts, particularly DoD.
