Our client is looking for a receptionist to join their Garden City office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).

Description of job duties:
Receptionist/Client Relations position that supports our company in delivering exceptional arbitration and mediation service to existing and potential clients.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Receptionist position in our Garden City headquarters to cover our Long Island Conference center
- Able to work overtime (either before or after normal working hours)
- Daily duties include greeting clients and hearing officers and establishing good relations therewith.
- Answering phones
- Confirming hearings and conferences with clients and hearing officers
- Assisting with many other administrative tasks such as scheduling, scanning, data entry, mailings, etc.
- May need to cover for Receptionist in our Manhattan conference center on an occasional basis
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong communication skills with clear diction and a pleasant speaking voice
- Superior organizational, documentation and customer service skills
- Outgoing and works well in a team environment
- Dependable, able to follow through, and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without being flustered, able to multi-task
- Computer proficient with knowledge of basic MS-Office programs including Word and Excel
- Strong client relationships skills with effective interaction; friendly and helpful
- Professional in dress, appearance, and mannerisms
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree
