Beltone, a global leader in hearing healthcare, is currently seeking dynamic and motivated Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists/Dispensers to join our team.
This opportunity provides a consistent flow of hearing loss patients for you to evaluate. Ancillary staff are also provided to assist in scheduling and patient care. Your main objective as a Hearing Care Practitioner, or HCP, is to professionally manage the patient process, which includes testing and fitting prospective hearing-impaired individuals and managing the assigned office(s) and support staff. You are also expected to obtain goals and targets, which are set according to the business plan for your location(s). You are responsible for providing outstanding patient experiences and maintaining high standards of patient care to ensure repeat and referral business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and complete hearing tests on prospective patients for potential hearing loss. Complete hearing evaluations must include sound field, air/bone conduction, SRT, LDL, and MCL.
- Fit prospective patients with Beltone hearing instruments.
- Make recommendations to patients on the make and model of the Beltone product that best suits their hearing loss and lifestyle needs.
- Train patients to use hearing aids or other augmentative communication devices.
- Provide appropriate patient follow-up care, including a checkup schedule and IMAR procedures. Ensure every patient receives the BelCare promise, an elite standard of service.
- Manage assigned office(s), including supervision of the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) and the ability to perform all PCC job duties.
- Achieve financial success by ensuring Point-of-Sale and Cash Management procedures are executed.
- Track and provide feedback on all referrals from marketing initiatives.
- Ensure employees follow all Beltone corporate policies, procedures, and pricing programs.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work full-time, in person. No remote opportunities
- Must possess a current license to dispense hearing instruments in the state(s) in which you will be working
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate test results both in writing and verbally.
- Must be able to present a professional appearance.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods throughout the day, as required.
- Must have good dexterity in both hands.
