Infrastructure and Networking Project Manager
- Requirements: 8 Years Infrastructure and Networking Project Management with PMP, AV (audio/visual) projects experience.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) Required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of infrastructure and networking working with AV. Knowledge of KVM beneficial but not required.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with Smartsheet (intermediate level)
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Work Schedule: Onsite in Ybor City, 3 days a week required
Position Overview:
Our client is establishing a new Operations Center from the ground up. The Project Manager will oversee two workstreams that are currently in progress, specifically focusing on KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) and AV (Audio-Visual) installations at the headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- KVM Installations: Lead the planning and coordination of KVM installations, which are vital for console operators and EMS.
- Collaborate on implementation planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to manage resources effectively and maintain project momentum.
- Foster a professional and respectful environment, providing guidance to team members under stress.
- AV Installations: Oversee the coordination of over 200 individual AV installations at the headquarters.
- Collaborate with vendors for installation and equipment tracking, managing a budget of approximately $9 million.
- Ensure effective communication with the Network team regarding IP, DHCP, VLANs, and other technical requirements.
- Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with compliance standards is beneficial.
- Experience in vendor management, coordinating efforts among at least five different vendors.
