Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the month-end close process and will contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and overall financial management within an automotive manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and provide insights on performance.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain financial systems and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform data analysis and financial modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in the month-end close process, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
