General Summary:
With minimal supervision, the Validation Team member is responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities to support FAA conformity, domestic Aircraft certification and foreign Aircraft Export Certification. Responsible for coordinating scheduling and communicating conformity activities with FAA designees, QC Inspector and/ or Supplier Agent. This is a primary position for overseeing the completeness and accuracy of conformity documentation and process as defined in OMS company procedures and Certification Plan. Must be able to control, compile, validate and maintain documents as required to support the Quality Assurance and Document Control Departments. *This is a Contingent position with our company (1-year or longer)*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with Quality, Production and FAA Designees team members, and has no direct reports.
- Plan, coordinate, facilitate meetings and provide communication within the company in support of Conformity and Validation projects
- Review certification documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Certification and Quality procedures
- Maintain inspection and build records as required
- Develop, maintain, and complete Export compliance checklists in accordance with FAA requirements
- Plan, schedule, and follow up with QC Inspector and/ or Supplier Agent and FAA Designees for conformity activity
- Prepare FAA Application for U.S. Airworthiness Certificate
- Perform database entry into company database(s)
- Perform as required Aircraft Maintenance entries into company database
- Perform other functions as directed by management.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
- Associate Degree (Aviation Business Administration, Aeronautics, etc) and/or minimum 2 years’ Type Certification experience, or FAA direct related experience.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Must possess good written/verbal communication skills
- Have thorough knowledge of general office practices/procedures
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, Access
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in SAP and TeamCenter applications
- FAA Conformity experience
Physical Requirements:

- Bend, stoop, squat and walk on a continuous basis.
