Position: Reliability Engineer II - Electronics Focus
Location: Denver, CO
Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000

Our client is a leading small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer. The Role:
As a Reliability Engineer with a focus on electronics, you will analyze electrical circuits and components for space flight applications. In this position, you will collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure that designs meet mission success requirements and perform reliability analyses to mitigate potential risks. Your work will directly contribute to mission-critical programs in space environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical reliability analyses, such as Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (EPSA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (eFMEA), and Worse Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA).
- Assess risks to electrical circuit functionality under environmental factors like temperature and radiation.
- Collaborate with parts and radiation engineers to identify and resolve application risks.
- Develop and maintain electrical system reliability models using specialized software.
- Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on reliability concerns.
- Engage in Material and Failure Review Board activities to address reliability issues.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in electrical component reliability and space radiation effects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in circuit design or analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, math, or physics, or equivalent work experience.
- Direct experience performing reliability analyses like parts stress analysis, failure mode and effects, or mean time between failure (MTBF).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and general knowledge of electrical circuits and components.
- Experience with SPICE analysis tools (P-SPICE, LT-SPICE) preferred.
