The Material Handler plays a crucial role in loading the trucks that ship our premium windows to customers. This position is responsible for communicating effectively to ensure that trucks are shipped complete and on time, continuously striving to improve productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety. It is essential that this individual can work successfully both independently and as part of a team with varied strengths.
Highlights of your role - Load and/or unload trucks in a timely, accurate, and safe manner
- Check shipments for quality accuracy based on the quality guidelines
- Work with computers, the ICIM program and scanners
- Work and communicate effectively with a team
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) - Ability to stand and/or walk for 8 - 10 hours a day
- Performing repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions
- Looking for both Heavy and Very Heavy lifting/pulling/pushing capabilities
- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning
Also want to make sure you have - Strong sense of self-motivation and require minimal direction
- Strong communication and organizational skills
