As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Head of People and Culture to join our team and help lead our human resources department.

Job Description:
The Head of People and Culture will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within the organization. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and effectiveness
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a positive work environment
- Sourcing Candidates,Coordinating Interviews, Evaluating Candidates, Offer Management, Onboarding, Relationship Management
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on employee relations, development, training and HR compliance
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a team
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
