The Role:
As a Junior Estimator, you’ll support the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for major commercial projects. You’ll be working on some of the most exciting developments in the industry, learning the ins and outs of the preconstruction process while helping the company secure groundbreaking contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Estimating: Help prepare detailed cost estimates for large commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Analyze Data: Review project plans, specs, and requirements to provide comprehensive and precise estimates.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather relevant data and refine estimates.
- Contribute to Bids: Assist in reviewing bid proposals, identifying potential risks, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, material pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitive bidding strategies.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a Financial-related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- 1-2 years of experience in estimating with commercial construction preferred (internships count!).
- Experience with estimation software is a plus, but not required.
