Your Role with the Company:
- Lead a small, passionate team, fostering a collaborative and creative atmosphere
- Oversee all business operations, including P&L management, ordering, inventory, scheduling, staff hiring and training, guest service, safety, and sanitation
- Bring a deep interest in wine with a desire to continually learn and share knowledge with staff and guests
- Oversee day-to-day operations with a hands-on, growth-oriented approach
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and courteously
- Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, make hiring and termination decisions, and evaluate employee performance
- Leverage prior experience with opening new establishments to build and shape the identity of the bar
- Cultivate a welcoming, long-term environment where both staff and patrons feel valued
- Bring a kind and approachable leadership style, creating a positive and supportive workplace
- Develop and refine cocktail and wine programs that reflect the unique culture of the establishment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Bar Manager with an upscale restaurant/bar/lounge
- Strong knowledge of managing P&L, inventory, and employee relations
- Proficiency with Margin Edge and well-versed using Toast
- Global wine knowledge required; Certified Sommelier not required but preferred
- Must be able to foster and encouraging and positive work culture
- Excellent floor presence and a passion for hospitality
- Genuine enjoyment of working with people, energetic, and detail oriented
