Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Genetec Security Center Consultant to join our security consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting Genetec Security Center solutions for clients, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their security needs, design customized security solutions, and ensure seamless integration and operation of Genetec systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise-Level Architecture: Design and implement Genetec Security Center solutions for large-scale, enterprise environments, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- System Optimization: Continuously optimize system performance, including video storage management, bandwidth usage, and hardware configuration.
- Firewall & Network Configuration: Configure firewalls, manage network ports, and set up certificates to ensure secure communication and compliance with IT security policies.
- Client Consultation: Assess client needs and recommend customized Genetec solutions for video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
- System Integration: Integrate Genetec Security Center with third-party systems (e.g., building management, alarms) and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation and configuration of hardware components like IP cameras, access points, and controllers.
- Ongoing Support: Provide technical troubleshooting, system updates, and regular maintenance to ensure long-term stability and performance.
- User Training & Documentation: Train clients and users, while also developing comprehensive documentation such as system configurations and user manuals.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in architecting and implementing Genetec Security Center solutions at an enterprise level, including Omnicast, Synergis, and related modules.
- Certifications & Skills: Expertise in network security (firewalls, ports, certificates), Genetec certifications preferred, strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
