Labor and Employment Attorney (Chicago Office)
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, with a focus on wage and hour matters and class action experience.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes and class action litigation
- Provide counsel on employment-related matters to employers across diverse industries
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research, attend court hearings, and handle discovery
- Maintain active communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Manage cases independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- A minimum of 4 years of labor and employment law experience, including wage and hour and class action matters
- Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously
