Job Title: Regional System Support Manager
Location: Redlands or Chino or Fontana - California
Pay: $85,000 - $95,000 per year + annual bonus
Position Summary:
The Regional System Support Manager oversees IT and telecommunication support across the warehouse, ensuring the efficiency and security of all systems. This role involves managing regional system support teams, coordinating with corporate IT departments, and traveling as needed for projects and support.
Reporting to:
- System Support Group General Manager
- National System Support Analyst General Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead regional system support teams, providing direction and support for warehouse and transportation operations. Implement IT standards, policies, and procedures in coordination with corporate IT departments.
- Networking: Plan and implement changes to IT infrastructure, ensuring network security according to corporate standards. Oversee IT infrastructure and LAN administration.
- Telephony: Manage telephone system upgrades and oversee related changes.
- Training and Lab Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of computer stations and software for training programs.
- Internal Systems: Lead troubleshooting efforts, manage system backups, and coordinate disaster recovery. Assist with the implementation of internal systems.
- Help Desk Administration: Oversee regional and local help desk activities, respond to escalated issues, and maintain tracking software.
- Asset Management: Maintain vendor relationships, manage hardware and software purchases, and ensure responsible asset management.
- Reporting and Safety: Generate reports as required. Manage sanitation and safety practices in the technology areas of the warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to initiate and manage projects.
- High proficiency in computer networking, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). LAN certification may be required.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and troubleshooting.
- Effective management skills to provide high-level support.
- College-level education or 4-5 years of experience in systems management.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is required based on project needs.
