Banco Sabadell is seeking a Temporary Payment Specialist candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.
Responsibilities:
• Incumbent will also collaborate with other positions that would need support when other employees are absent.
• Process daily wire transfers transactions (Outgoing / Incoming / Internal) via FEDWIRE and/or SWIFT ALLIANCE, using the systems established
• Verify that on the instructions of the customers are the procedures of security such as: call backs, and signature verifications
• Ensure the compliance of the Travel Rule and other related regulations when processing wire transfers
• Ensure that the OFAC program engine is working, there is always an override informing if the transaction has to be approved for OFAC
• Assist and gather information related to wire transfer payments investigations or pending issues, within the established guidelines
• Assist in reconciling any discrepancies related to the Payments Service area
• Comply with all Bank policies; ensuring that procedures are followed when performing Paying & Receiving transactions on the T-24 system and other equipment as required
• Assist in the process of Check 21 and ACH transactions if is necessary
• Process wire transfers received through BS Online
• Collaborate with duties or follow-ups of incidents or errors related to wire transfer payments investigations according with the established procedures
• Assist and support for coordinate the reception and sending of payment orders and other documentation between SFC and MLOC II
• Contribute to the fulfillment of department and Bank objectives and goals
• Assist in identifying pending transactions in reconciliation reports, and request information necessary for their regularization
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers according to Department needs
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
