CBRE- Global Workplace Solutions is hiring a Reliability Engineer for a client site in Baltimore, MD. In this role you will be responsible for the site’s equipment maintenance and instrument calibration processes. You’ll utilize your leadership skills to provide technical and organizational support to drive equipment reliability and performance improvement
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a safety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same condition in which they reported to work.
- Use guidelines set by management to develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies. Performs annual review of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure current work order system library contains correct frequencies and balanced 12-month schedules for all technicians and vendors.
- Support the maintenance team through development, implementation and ongoing improvement of preventive maintenance and engineering procedures.
- Conduct and assist with inspections and qualitative audits to ensure compliance to the scope of work.
- Responsible for maintenance and reliability planning and measurement.
- Help develop a world class predictive maintenance program that is focused heavily on system reliability and uptime of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Create technical program playbooks and procedures.
- Perform reliability analysis of the maintenance program by performing in-depth root cause analysis and trending.
- Develop specifications and assist in solicitation and administration of maintenance/repair service contracts.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and 4 years’ experience or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with instrumentation/controls and computerized maintenance management systems
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, as well as financial reporting and analysis.
- Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
