Test Automation Engineer Using TestStand and LabView
Location: San Jose, Ca.
Candidates Must be Local to San Jose, Ca. Region!
Temporary: 6+ months - Onsite
Pay Rate: $45 - $53/hr
Must have at least 2 years of experience.
Looking at re-factoring tools and interfacing with equipment. Continually focusing on Process Improvements. Work will be 75% softwrae and 25% hardware.
The Candiate is someone who can not onlly look into an application, but can also build a new one from the ground up without an established set of requirements.
Summary of Experience Desired, tools, SW needed
TestStand Developer (Architect nice to have) / LabView Developer - (These are certifications from NI)
- Ideally has experience modernizing an old codebase
- Experience with LabView code modularization and decoupling
- + Familiar with software principles
- Version Control (Git)
- CI/CD
- Refactoring
- Code Testing
- Environment Management (JKI Dragon preferred)
- Experience with Python / C# / JavaScript preferred
- Needs to be able to integrate test stand with these tools
- Some experience with process optimization preferred
- Experience interfacing with hardware
- RestAPI Experience Preferred
- Basic Familiarity with networking - (Ethercat experience a big plus)
- OPS background preferred (different mindset from R&D)
- USA Based, ideally near SJC office.
