Job Title: Cloud Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to provide technical architecture leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure. This role involves documenting architecture specifications, aligning solutions with business strategies, and developing enterprise-wide technical frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of public cloud infrastructure architecture using AWS best practices.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, middleware engineers, and business leaders to ensure alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Document technical specifications focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
- Consult with various teams to create comprehensive architectural solutions across business processes and technologies.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Provide after-hours support during migration and issue triage.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise/Cloud Architecture with extensive IT experience (8-10 years preferred).
- Proficient in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) and related technologies (WAF, CloudFront, Lambda).
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization (ECS, EKS), and networking concepts (VPC, subnets).
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and front-end technologies (React, Angular).
- Understanding of IT security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant experience in healthcare is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
