We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer with a strong background in system administration and Electronic Health Records (EHR) infrastructure management. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing management of critical healthcare IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. You will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to support healthcare operations through robust IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the Senior System Engineer:
- Design, deploy, and administer EHR infrastructure, including server hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions that improve IT operations and enhance healthcare workflows.
- Use BPMN 2.0 to map processes and identify opportunities for system optimization.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security regulations, managing access controls, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
- Oversee server environments (both physical and virtual), ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance projects, minimizing system downtime while ensuring continuity of service.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation on systems architecture, processes, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior System Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in system administration, with expertise in EHR infrastructure, systems integrations, and network protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic, NextGen) and their infrastructure requirements.
- Experience with BPMN 2.0 for process mapping and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance, security protocols, and disaster recovery processes in healthcare settings.
- Expertise in server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior System Engineer:
- Certifications in Healthcare Information Systems (e.g., HIMSS, CPHIMS) or EHR platforms (Cerner, Epic, etc.).
- Experience in cloud-based healthcare systems and high-security environments.
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams or IT projects.
