Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead and oversee our Solar and Retail Sales divisions. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving sales growth, mentoring and training sales teams, and holding team members accountable for achieving performance goals. You will directly manage three key sales leaders: the Solar Sales Manager, the Maryland Retail Sales Manager, and the Virginia Retail Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance of the Solar and Retail Sales divisions, ensuring each meets or exceeds their sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the three direct reports: Solar Sales Manager, Maryland Retail Sales Manager, and Virginia Retail Sales Manager.
- Implement effective sales strategies, training programs, and performance management systems to drive growth and accountability across the sales teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and business development.
- Set clear sales goals and monitor progress, providing feedback and coaching to ensure sales teams meet expectations.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align sales strategies with company growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring of sales team members as needed to scale the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other departments to optimize sales processes and customer experience.
- Continuously refine sales training programs to ensure teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably with experience managing multiple sales divisions.
- Strong track record of growing and scaling sales teams and driving company revenue growth.
- Exceptional ability to mentor, coach, and hold teams accountable to performance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing effective sales training programs and accountability measures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with solar, retail, or construction industries is a plus but not required.
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive sales performance.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and digital tools for sales tracking and reporting.
