We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help develop, maintain, and enhance our backend systems using NetSuite, Firebase, React and other software. A key part of the job is integrating and supporting various eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and NetSuite. You’ll work closely with our warehousing, accounting, and operations teams to ensure smooth data flow across systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Firebase
- Manage data storage and real-time updates with Firestore
- Assist with integrations between HydroJug’s eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, and NetSuite
- Collaborate with the team to build React-based front-end features for internal tools and dashboards
- Work with warehousing and fulfillment systems to optimize order processing
- Support financial data synchronization with the accounting team
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend services, integrations, and front-end functionality
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Firebase services (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions)
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and NetSuite
- Proficiency with React for frontend development
- Basic understanding of warehousing, logistics, and accounting processes
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
