Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience)

At Dumé Law Group, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive legal services in both immigration and family law. Our firm is located in West New York, NJ, and we are seeking a passionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration & Family Law Associate to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will handle a variety of immigration and family law cases, including but not limited to:
Immigration Law:
- Represent foreign nationals in deportation or removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
- Attend adjustment of status and naturalization interviews before USCIS on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and submit waiver applications, including I-601A waivers and requests for Stay of Removal.
- File appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and Petitions for Review with the federal circuit courts, including writing detailed legal briefs.
- Prepare U and T visa applications for victims of crime and trafficking.
- Draft and file motions (e.g., Motions to Reopen, Motions to Continue, Motions to Change Venue) in immigration court.
- Assist clients with DACA renewals and new applications.
- File Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) and VAWA petitions for vulnerable clients.
- Handle asylum and withholding of removal applications, as well as cancellation of removal claims, including preparing extensive supporting evidence for EOIR submission.
Family Law:
- Represent clients in divorce proceedings and other related family court matters.
- Draft, file, and argue motions and complaints in divorce and family law cases, including child custody, support, and domestic violence issues.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of business immigration-related petitions is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited la
w school.Admis
